These Terms govern your use of GridChat and the GridPrivacy Engine. By using GridChat, you agree to these terms.

By creating an account or using GridChat, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using GridChat on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
GridChat's Privacy Tier is built on the GP Encryption Engine — a mathematically enforced end-to-end encryption system using Curve25519 and AES-256-GCM. This means:
Not even Grid BV can read your messages. No backdoors exist. No data is decrypted on our servers. Your messages are mathematically private between sender and recipient.
You agree NOT to use GridChat to:
Grid BV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including accounts used for illegal activity.
GridChat offers the following subscription tiers:

Subscriptions are billed monthly. No refunds for partial months. Cancel anytime. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

Grid BV is not liable for the actions of company employees. The subscribing company entity is responsible for all usage under its account.
All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on GridChat are proprietary to Grid BV and protected by Dutch and international intellectual property law. This includes:
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any Grid BV intellectual property without prior written consent.
GridChat and Grid BV are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law:
GridChat is GDPR compliant and hosted on EU servers. As a Dutch-registered company (Grid BV), we process data in accordance with:
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Contact us at privacy@gridchat.app.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. This triggers GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure) — all your personal data is permanently deleted including:
Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. Grid BV may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, applicable laws, or pose a security risk.
Grid BV reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:
Continued use of GridChat after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using GridChat and delete your account.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GridChat shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
For EU consumers: this does not affect your rights under EU consumer protection law, including the right to resolve disputes through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
